Within the State Department, the Exchange Teacher program is known as BridgeUSA.
Sagamore Institute has been authorized by the US Department of State to administer Bridge USA’s J-1 teacher program.
BridgeUSA connects people around the world to the United States. Through their programs, participants take ownership of new personal responsibilities and develop professional and leadership skills. Participants create a broader network of modern-day leaders who have visited the United States, understand American culture and work together to solve global challenges. BridgeUSA programs have an end date, but the cultural exchange experience lasts a lifetime. Each individual who participates in a BridgeUSA cultural exchange program is a global leader equipped with the knowledge and ability to make a positive impact.
Visit the BridgeUSA website for more information about exchange visitor visas.
